Our team brings together researchers with graduate-level training across environmental science, bioengineering, and biotechnology from National Taiwan University and National Cheng Kung University. With backgrounds rooted in laboratory science and ongoing engagement with peer-reviewed literature, our writers bring both academic depth and practical research experience to every article.
The YCM Mold Research Center, which operates MoldNewsHub, has published independent peer-reviewed research in Sustainable Microbiology (Oxford University Press) — representing the center’s commitment to evidence-based, internationally recognized scientific work.

Roy directs the YCM Mold Research Center, guiding the team’s research direction and maintaining the center’s focus on applied fungal science in industrial and manufacturing contexts. His expertise is grounded in hands-on experience with fungal contamination assessment across production and manufacturing environments.

M.Sc. in Forest, Environmental and Resource Sciences, National Taiwan University
Joanne’s graduate training in environmental and resource science gives her a strong foundation in ecological systems and the environmental dynamics that govern fungal growth and distribution.
